CTDI is seeking a Non-CDL Truck Driver for LOCAL routes with home daily shifts. This role offers overtime and a starting pay of $23.54/hr. You will drive a small truck to move cargo within the local area, inspect vehicles, and maintain accurate logs.

Your responsibilities include loading/unloading cargo, securing loads, obtaining signatures on documents, and adhering to all DOT and safety regulations. CTDI emphasizes a team‑oriented, inclusive workplace with strong support and growth

Qualifications

• 1+ years delivery-driving experience or willingness to train.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Reliable, adaptable, dependable with good communication.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck pre- and post-trip.
• Complete inspection sheets, logs, bills of lading, and related documents.
• Ensure cargo is loaded and secured for transit.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo.
• Obtain signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
• Monitor truck maintenance and repair needs.
• Provide professional customer service and represent CTDI positively.
• Follow all Federal and State DOT and warehouse safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Non-CDL Truck Driver will drive a small truck to transport cargo to and from destinations within the immediate local area.

Non-CDL Truck Driver - LOCAL - HOME DAILY - OVER-TIME AVAILABLE

• 1st Shift: Flexible Early Morning Shifts, Monday to Friday
• Pay: starting at $23.54/hr.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip.
• Accurately complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports.
• Ensures all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit.
• Assists with or oversees loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit.
• Acquires all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
• Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing them company positively.
• Responsible for following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• 1+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experience or willing to complete a company driving training program
• Valid state-issued driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
• Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
• Strong commitment to customer service.

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 85 lbs., if necessary.
• Flexible early morning shift
• Comfortable sitting for extended periods.
