Job summary

NorthEast Electrical, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a Full-time, Local Route NON CDL Driver in Lawrence, MA. You will operate a company-provided truck delivering materials to customers with a Monday-Friday schedule and a 1am start, earning $24 per hour.

Qualified candidates must hold a valid license with a clean MVR for the past 3 years and be able to lift up to 75 lbs. NorthEast Electrical offers comprehensive benefits and career growth within a global electrical distributor.

Hours: Monday-Friday 1am Start

Rate: $24/hr

As a NorthEast Electrical Union Driver for the Lawrence, MA location, you will be the face of the company driving a company provided truck to transport materials to our valued customers. Responsibilities include operating company equipment in a safe manner, while ensuring that our product is in perfect condition and ready for our customers. The responsibilities listed below are encompassing of a Warehouse Driver but may vary accordingly.

What a day in this role looks like:

• Delivering material in a timely manner to customers.
• Maintaining vehicle in proper working condition - conduct daily inspections as stated in established policies and procedures.
• Load and unload trucks, move material in a safe manner using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device.
• Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped.
• May assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material for safe delivery or storage.
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Perform other related duties as required or directed by manager.
