Job summary

NorthEast Electrical in Brockton, MA is seeking a Full time, Local Route CDL A, Union Delivery Driver to join our growing team. You will drive a company truck to deliver materials to customers, with an 11pm start time Sunday-Thursday.

This role requires a valid CDL A with a clean MVR for the past 5 years and a strong work ethic. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within the Sonepar family.

Qualifications

• Must be able to frequently lift up to 75 lbs.
• Willingness to work night schedule: Sunday–Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material in a timely manner to customers.
• Maintain vehicle in proper working condition and perform daily inspections.
• Load and unload trucks using forklift or manual methods.
• Count, check, prepare, and record items for shipping or receipt.
• Complete paperwork and data entry as required.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.

Hours: 11pm Start Time Sunday-Thursday

Rate: $29/hr

As a NorthEast Electrical Union Driver for the Brockton, MA Headquarters location, you will be the face of the company driving a company provided truck to transport materials to our valued customers . Responsibilities include operating company equipment in a safe manner, while ensuring that our product is in perfect condition and ready for our customers. The responsibilities listed below are encompassing of a Warehouse Driver but may vary accordingly.

What a day in this role looks like:

• Delivering material in a timely manner to customers.
• Maintaining vehicle in proper working condition - conduct daily inspections as stated in established policies and procedures.
• Load and unload trucks, move material in a safe manner using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device.
• Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped.
• May assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material for safe delivery or storage.
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Perform other related duties as required or directed by manager.
