Job summary

Iron Mountain Incorporated seeks an experienced Local Route Driver to join the Operations team in De Pere, WI. You will safely operate a box truck on a local route, ensuring secure handling of materials and high levels of customer service.

The role requires attention to transport records and adherence to security procedures. Responsibilities include scheduling pickups, maintaining safe driving practices, and accurate paperwork, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of route transportation experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with good driving record; 21+ years old.
• Able to pass pre-employment substance screening, background check, and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain company vehicles safely to perform scheduled pickups and deliveries following DOT and security standards.
• Manage end-to-end route logistics including loading, transport, and unloading with accurate paperwork.
• Collaborate with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery and represent Iron Mountain on the road.

Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Local Route Driver to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle and delivering exceptional customer service as you manage your dedicated local route. Your attention to detail in transport and record-keeping is critical to maintaining the security and trust Iron Mountain has with its clients.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Operate and maintain company vehicles safely and efficiently to perform scheduled pickups and deliveries, ensuring all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Iron Mountain security standards are followed.
• Manage the end-to-end route logistics, including the secure loading, transport, and unloading of materials without assistance, while accurately preparing all required paperwork and records.
• Collaborate with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery and demonstrate strong customer service and verbal communication skills as the face of Iron Mountain on the road.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

• 1 - 2 years of preferred experience in route transportation or a similar field.
• Drive a Commercial Box Truck / Mobile Shred Unit / Tipper.
• Make an average of 15+ stops daily.
• Use wireless scanning technology / preparing paperwork.
• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and security procedures, including the ability to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical.
• Proven ability to perform the physical tasks required, including safely lifting up to 70 pounds and carrying/moving heavy bins, and exhibiting safe, efficient driving skills.
• A valid Driver’s License with a good driving record and a minimum age of 21.

• Pay: $ 23.00 - 25.00/HR Based on Experience
• Schedule: Monday thru Friday .
• Hours: 6:30 AM - Until Route Completion
