Job summary

Alside is a leading exterior building products distributor offering delivery services to residential and commercial sites. The role focuses on safe operation of delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment, loading/unloading, and maintaining accurate logs.

You will collaborate with the supply center team to meet on-time delivery goals, review inventory discrepancies, and help ensure merchandise is properly racked and documented. A clean driving record is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of driving experience required.
• Experience with building products is helpful.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Must have a clean driving record (no more than 3 violations in 3 years).
• Ability to pass a drug screen and read safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Make local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites.
• Safely operate vehicles, truck-mounted forklifts, and warehouse forklifts.
• Assist in day-to-day warehouse operations while following safety practices and wearing PPE.
• Load and unload trucks and ensure proper documentation and logs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies; maintain inventory accuracy.
• Communicate with supply center team and customers for on-time deliveries.
• Review discrepancies from inventory and notify Branch Manager; ensure accurate receiving.
• Ensure merchandise is properly racked and tagged; assist in inventory audits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites
• Safely and efficiently operate vehicles, truck mounted forklifts, warehouse forklifts
• Assist in day-to-day functions of warehouse operations while following safety practices and wearing required PPE
• Load and unload trucks
• Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs
• Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, material handling practices, and load securement policies
• Communicate with supply center team and customers for accurate, on-time delivery
• Review discrepancies from inventory and notifies Branch Manager
• Accurate receiving and pulling of product to ensure accurate inventory
• Ensure all merchandise is properly racked and tagged
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor/ Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift or move up to 100 lbs.
• Standing, walking, and moving frequently

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have 1 year of driving experience
• Experience with building products is very helpful
