Job summary

Alside is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Driver in Greensboro, NC. This role performs local deliveries to residential and commercial sites and operates truck-mounted forklifts and warehouse equipment.

You will load/unload, log deliveries, and maintain inventory records. Requirements include a valid CDL Class A or B, at least 1 year of CDL driving experience, a clean driving record, ability to pass a drug screen, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B is required for this position.
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• Experience with building products is very helpful.
• Moffett experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Clean driving record - no more than 3 violations in the previous 3 years.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Ability to read and interpret safety policies and procedures.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites
• Safely and efficiently operate vehicles, truck mounted forklifts, warehouse forklifts
• Assist in day-to-day functions of warehouse operations while following safety practices and wearing required PPE
• Load and unload trucks
• Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs
• Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, material handling practices, and load securement policies
• Communicate with supply center team and customers for accurate, on-time delivery
• Review discrepancies from inventory and notifies Branch Manager
• Accurate receiving and pulling of product to ensure accurate inventory
• Ensure all merchandise is properly racked and tagged
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor/ Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality

• Lift or move up to 100 lbs.
• Standing, walking, and moving frequently

The actual wage offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. The pay rate for this position is $25 an hour.
