Job summary

Total Safety in Baton Rouge and Gonzales is seeking a Non-DOT Driver to operate a commercial truck and various trailers, delivering equipment to job sites and customers. You will ensure compliance with DOT regulations and maintain vehicle readiness.

Responsibilities include timely deliveries, documentation, vehicle inspections, and light maintenance. Strong English skills, a valid non-CDL license, and teamwork are essential for success in a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (non-CDL) from state of residence and proof of vehicle insurance.
• Must have a good driving record and be insurable for company insurance.
• Ability to read/write in English and follow instructions.
• Second language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pickup equipment to/from designated locations and record transactions.
• Inspect equipment for damage and wear during pickup.
• Complete delivery/pickup documentation and obtain customer signature for invoicing.
• Perform basic maintenance and weekly inspections on assigned vehicle/trailer.
• Assist with stocking, staging, and loading orders for delivery.
• May assist with emergency roadside repairs.
