An established heavy highway contracting company is seeking a qualified Lowboy Driver in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This full-time position is ideal for a Class A CDL driver with heavy equipment experience. The role includes safely transporting and operating heavy equipment with an emphasis on daily safety inspections. The candidate must be dependable and organized, with responsibilities including equipment loading/unloading and adherence to DOT regulations. The employee benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, and 401K, with compensation based on experience.

Qualificações

• Must possess and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License Class A (CDL A).
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with appropriate documentation.
• Use basic equipment operating skills necessary to load and unload equipment.
• Check fluid levels, tires, lights, and other controls for safe operation.
• Keeps accurate log of deliveries and completes required paperwork.
• Operate lowboy trailer on sites including off public highways.
• Complete equipment inspections and log books per DOT regulations.
• Know current federal and state cargo securement laws.
