Job summary

Manning Building Supplies in Florida is seeking a Non-CDL Driver I to safely transport raw materials and smaller orders to various job sites. This entry-level driving position may require state-specific certification and does not require a CDL.

You will check orders, secure and unload loads, complete delivery tickets, and maintain safe operation of equipment. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 years of truck driving experience, and lumber dumping experience preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate safely.
• Deliver and unload materials to customer’s satisfaction.
• Check orders for accuracy and count.
• Organize and secure loads.
• Obtain supervisor approval on all loads.
• Complete daily equipment inspection.
• Complete delivery paperwork and credit slips.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist in unloading materials returned for credit.
• Relay messages from customers while on job.
• Follow supervisor guidelines and participate in trainings.
