Job summary

Trilogy Medwaste in Columbus, GA seeks a Non-CDL Driver to safely collect waste containers from healthcare offices and transport them to designated facilities. The role emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and strong customer service. Compensation is $20.00 per hour with full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, route-based driving, inspections, and documenting via mobile manifests. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license
• Excellent customer service with customers, regulators and colleagues
• Proficient data entry on computer
• Able to use mobile manifest app for documentation
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to adapt to changing business demands
• Must meet DOT licensing requirements
• Class C license required (A/B acceptable)
• Must obtain/maintain Medical Examiners’ Card (MEC)

Responsibilities

• Collect containers from healthcare offices
• Drive to customer locations along routes for material collection
• Attend required trainings
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
• Maintain Driver’s Hours of Service log
• Review manifests and shipping papers
• Provide customer training on manifesting and packaging
• Label, load and secure materials for transport
• Clean, refuel, and maintain vehicle
• Other duties as assigned by management
