Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, LLC. is seeking a Non-CDL Driver to deliver products to client accounts and maintain vehicle and route efficiency.

The role includes loading, inspecting, and supporting sales activities while ensuring accurate paperwork and customer satisfaction. You will operate company vehicles in a safe, timely manner, manage daily routes, and assist with merchandising and inventory at each account.

• Able to quickly learn product and account characteristics.

• Must be able to think critically, adapt to change and utilize available resources to solve problems.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver License and DOT medical card required.
• Clear motor vehicle record for the past three years required.
• Previous driving and/or delivery experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and service products within assigned accounts.
• Merchandise and stock coolers to increase sell-through.
• Maintain neat inventory in each account.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Operate company vehicle safely and obey traffic regulations.
• Complete sales tickets and collect payments; process PODs and related paperwork.
• Finish daily Check In/Out, DOT pre-trips and post-trips.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with an hourly pay rate of $17.55 / hour plus incentives. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview

The Non-CDL Driver is responsible for delivering products to clients; inspect the general condition of the vehicle; prepare, load, unload, operate, and clean the vehicle. Review standing orders, develop sales, process payments, and maintain records.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering and servicing all products within assigned accounts
• Merchandises and stocks all coolers to effectively increase sell-through of products
• Manages, rotates, and maintains a neat inventory in each account
• Provides excellent customer service to accounts, effectively resolves concerns or issues with professionalism and in a timely manner
• Honors all personal and business commitments to all customers
• Operates company vehicle safely, courteously, and obeys all traffic regulations
• Responsible for completion of all sales tickets, obtaining payment for product at all accounts, POD’s collected and all related paperwork.
• Completion of daily Check In/Out process, DOT pre-trips and post-trips.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

• Physical demands include a considerable amount of time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
• Must be able to frequently lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to48pounds
• Must be able to regularly sit and operate machinery such as a forklift, pallet jacks, and battery change stations
• Work may involve repetitive motions, working at varying heights, and exposure to warehouse environmental conditions
• Extended hours, overtime, weekends, and peak‑season schedules may be required
