The Hilldrup Companies in Longs, SC are seeking a full-time Non-CDL Driver to safely move household and commercial goods. This on-site role may lead a crew of up to five and requires strong customer service and reliable performance.

You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, assist with loading/unloading, and ensure moves meet Hilldrup’s safety and quality standards. CDL not required, high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle operated; CDL not required.
• Driving record that meets Hilldrup’s driver eligibility requirements.
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings and driver qualification requirements.
• Ability to meet medical/physical qualification requirements for the vehicles operated and work performed.
• Six months or more of professional Box Tuck driving experience preferred.
• Previous moving and storage, delivery, transportation, logistics, or related experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate company vehicles that do not require a CDL in accordance with policies and laws.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Transport customers’ household goods, commercial goods, equipment and other materials safely and efficiently.
• Serve as on-site team lead for moves and deliveries, directing crews of up to five employees.
• Coordinate daily job activities to ensure safe, efficient, and timely completion of moves and deliveries.
• Assist with loading, unloading, packing, wrapping, and protecting customer belongings.
