Job summary

The Hilldrup Companies in Capitol Heights, MD is hiring a Driver - Class A CDL. You will oversee customer moves, inspect vehicles, and ensure safe transport with excellent service. DOT physical, background check, and drug screening are required; a clean driving record is essential.

You’ll lead a small crew on site and ensure moves run smoothly, efficiently, and professionally while representing Hilldrup with reliability. CDL required; moving or storage experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Six months to 1 year household goods experience.
• Pass DOT physical and drug screening.
• Virginia State Class A CDL and Valid driver’s license.
• Good driving record.
• Must complete UVL Packer and Mover certification training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer moves and conduct vehicle inspections.
• Lead a team of up to five during moves and act as Hilldrup’s face on site.
• Ensure moves are executed smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and transport belongings securely.
• Meet DOT requirements, maintain safety protocols and high service standards.
