Dohrn Transfer Company, LLC in Indianapolis is hiring a Full Time Class B Driver to operate straight trucks for delivering and picking up freight between customer locations. The role requires a minimum of 1 year of Class B experience and a valid CDL. Starting pay is $28.06 per hour with potential to reach $31.09 per hour after the first year.

Hours are Monday–Friday, days, starting at 5am. Benefits include Health/Vision/Dental, 401k matching, life insurance, disability, and a quarterly safety

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class B equipment experience.
• Must pass a road test administered by a Dohrn Transfer Driver Trainer.
• Must possess, or obtain, Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements.
• Must pass a DOT physical exam and pre-employment drug screen.
• No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years and a clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Drive a straight truck between customer locations to deliver and pick up freight.
• Load and unload truck with or without dockworker assistance.
• Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying of freight up to 100 pounds.
• Maintain records and logs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Inspect the vehicle for safety and comply with DOT and company policies.
