The Driver/Event Installer is responsible for safely transporting crew members and event equipment to and from job sites in a 26-foot box truck, as well as loading, unloading, delivering, picking up, installing, and removing event equipment.

Job description

Masis Staffing is seeking a dependable and hardworking Non-CDL Driver / Event Installer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This is an active, hands‑on position where you will spend most of your day outdoors, working alongside a great team and helping create memorable experiences for our clients.

The Driver/Event Installer is responsible for safely transporting crew members and event equipment to and from job sites in a 26-foot box truck, as well as loading, unloading, delivering, picking up, installing, and removing event equipment.
Location: Charlotte, NC 28273
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Days: Monday – Sunday, as needed

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a company 26' box truck to and from event locations
• Transport crew members and event equipment safely
• Load and unload tables, chairs, tents, décor, and other event equipment
• Deliver and pick up equipment from customer and event locations
• Assist with event setup and installation
• Assist with event breakdown and equipment removal
• Work efficiently as part of a team
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with clients
• Keep equipment and work areas organized
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Non-CDL driving experience preferred
• Comfortable driving a 26-foot box truck or similar vehicle
• Must be able to safely load, unload, lift, carry, and move event equipment
• Must be comfortable working outdoors and in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Must be physically active and able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry throughout the workday
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Positive, hardworking attitude
• Flexible availability, including weekends, as needed
• Must be willing to work Monday through Sunday depending on event schedules

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding, hands‑on position. Candidates must be able to:

• Lift and carry event equipment
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Load and unload trucks repeatedly throughout the day
• Bend, stoop, push, pull, and climb as needed
• Perform essential job functions in a non-climate-controlled environment
