Curated Events Raleigh is seeking an Install Crew Standard with Driving in Apex, NC. The role safely transports and installs event rental equipment at client venues, loading and unloading trucks and setting up spaces according to client specifications.

This hands-on position requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will represent the company with professionalism and ensure equipment is handled with care.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
• Experience in event setup, warehouse operations, or delivery driving preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
• Fast-paced, physically demanding role requiring regular heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking.
• Exposure to outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.

Responsibilities

• Driving and Transportation: Safely drive company vehicles to deliver event rental equipment to client venues; conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; adhere to traffic laws and company policies.
• Event Setup and Breakdown: Load/unload equipment; install and assemble rentals per plans; dismantle and pack equipment after events.
• Customer Interaction: Represent Curated Events professionally and address client questions on-site.
• Equipment Maintenance: Inspect equipment for damages; report maintenance needs.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and use proper lifting techniques.

Job Summary:
The Install Crew Standard with Driving position is responsible for safely transporting and installing event rental equipment at client venues. This role involves hands-on work, including loading/unloading trucks, setting up event spaces according to client specifications, and ensuring all equipment is handled with care. Drivers will also assist with deliveries and pickups, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving and Transportation:
  • Safely drive company vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to deliver event rental equipment to client venues.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Adhere to traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Event Setup and Breakdown:
  • Load and unload event equipment, such as tents, tables, chairs, linens, and décor items, with attention to detail and care.
  • Install and assemble rental equipment at event sites, following layout plans and client instructions.
  • Dismantle and pack equipment after events, ensuring items are returned in good condition.
• Customer Interaction:
  • Represent Curated Events in a professional and courteous manner during client interactions.
  • Address client concerns or questions on-site and communicate any issues to management promptly.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  • Inspect equipment for damages or missing parts during loading and unloading.
  • Report maintenance needs or damages to the warehouse or management team.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines when handling heavy or fragile equipment.
  • Use proper lifting techniques and tools to prevent injuries.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL is a plus but not required.
• Previous experience in event setup, warehouse operations, or delivery driving is preferred.
