Job summary

CORE Linen delivers clean linens to customers in Winston-Salem and surrounding areas. The position involves loading/unloading linen carts, performing deliveries accurately and on time, and maintaining equipment in a clean, safe condition.

You will follow DOT requirements, complete daily paperwork, and uphold CLS policies. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to lift 50 lbs and push/pull up to 700 lbs are required. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must have clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and MVR background check.
• Be able to lift 50 lbs and push/pull a wheeled cart of 700 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload linen carts at company and customer sites.
• Complete all required paperwork/logs daily.
• Weigh soil per customer and deliver soil to soil room.

Job description

Summary

To assure customer deliveries are made with accuracy, timeliness. And within set time parameters. Perform job duties in a safe and courteous manner while maintaining an unblemished driving record. Adhere to all company and DOT requirements, including but not limited to daily documentation.

• Adhere to all CLS policies as stated in the employee handbook.
• Be in uniform and maintain a neat appearance every workday.
• Adhere to CLS attendance policy.
• Keep company equipment lean and organized.
• Report any mechanical issue to chief engineer promptly.
• Follow all universal precautions and procedures while on soil side.
• Maintain all proper DOT documentation and certification.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Report any and all problems/issues in regard to customer service and satisfaction.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and possibly holidays. Have and maintain a clean driving record with a valid driver’s license. Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and MVR background check. Be able to lift 50 lbs. and push/pull a wheeled cart of 700lbs.

• Load and unload linen carts at both the company’s and customer’s place of business tagging each one accordingly.
• Completely fill out all required paperwork/logs and turn in daily.
• Weigh all soil in under the correct customer and deliver all soil to the soil room.
• Disinfect vehicles after each soil pick up.
• Maintain the company vehicle in a clean and orderly manner.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Turn in a Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Report daily.
• Perform customer deliveries in an accurate and timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
