Job Description

The Role

You will be primarily responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers throughout the Salt Lake City region.

Essential Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

• Accurately check invoices during deliveries.
• Deliver palletized products to customers using a hand truck.
• Maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Provide superior customer service during each delivery.
• Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payments for COD customers.
• Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with co-workers and other departments.
• Operate a company vehicle equipped with dash cams and adhere to policies regarding dash cam usage and data privacy.
• Maintain the functionality of the assigned vehicle’s dash cam.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Be 23 years old or older.
• Hold a Class D license.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
• Ability to read and understand English per DOT regulations.
• Satisfactory driving record.
• Obtain a valid medical card after hiring.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• At least 1 year of delivery driver experience.

Additional Information

This is a safety-sensitive position. The employer participates in E-Verify and will confirm work authorization through the Social Security Administration and Department of Homeland Security as needed. H1-B sponsorship is not available. Compensation depends on qualifications, experience, and location.
