Job summary

Power-Flo Technologies Moonachie is seeking a Non-CDL Driver to handle local deliveries in a 26-foot box truck, rack truck, and sprinter van. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, 401K, EAP, and ESOP.

Salary range listed per hour. The position requires box truck experience, a valid license, ability to obtain DOT certification, and the ability to work in a warehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience driving box trucks up to 26 feet.
• No CDL required.
• Valid license with 7 years' clean driving record.
• Able to obtain and maintain DOT certification.
• Able to work in a warehouse.
• Strong English communication, both written and spoken.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and push/pull 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle
• Plan delivery route to maximize efficiency
• Obey traffic laws and parking regulations
• Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver orders
• Perform basic warehouse tasks: stock, shelves, packing
• Pull and stage orders for shipment
• Maintain a clean driver's license to operate company vehicles

This is a full-time opportunity. Monday - Friday. 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

Salary Range: $17 - $19/hour

Key Responsibilities :

• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle
• Plan delivery route to maximize efficiency and productivity for the day
• Obey all traffic laws and parking regulations
• Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver orders
• Perform basic warehouse work to include, removing sold parts from stock, placing received parts on shelves, processing items for shipment, receiving, driving, organizing etc.
• Pull and stage orders for shipment
• Maintain a clean Driver's License to operate company vehicles

Requirements :

• Box truck (up to 26 feet) experience required. No CDL required.
• Current, valid, and clean driver’s license (7 years' clean driving record) to operate company vehicles
• Ability to work in the warehouse
• Ability to obtain & maintain DOT certification
• Ability to follow processes, procedures, and policies
• Ability to work well both independently and on a team and be willing to learn
• Ability to communicate in verbal and written from with functional English skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull over 100 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders
• This position may require standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and/or reaching
• You may be exposed to dust, loud noises, and hot and cold conditions
• Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills may be required for hand tools, power tools, and other machinery
