Central Plumbing Specialties is seeking a dependable Non-CDL Driver to transport products between our warehouses, vendors, and customer sites across the NY/NJ/CT metro area. This full-time role combines box truck driving with loading/unloading and delivering friendly, professional service at every stop.

You will work with the warehouse team to ensure correct orders are loaded, delivered on time, and that every interaction with customers reflects our commitment to quality service.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of box truck driving experience.
• Valid Class D license (no CDL required) and DOT medical card.
• Ability to lift and move at least 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proactive problem-solving and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks daily with warehouse team.
• Deliver products across NY/NJ/CT metro area within expected timeframes.
• Plan efficient routes and follow DOT regulations.
• Verify deliveries and obtain customer signatures; manage returns.

Get behind the wheel with Central Plumbing Specialties. We’re hiring a Non-CDL Driver to transport products between our warehouses, vendors, and customer project sites throughout the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut metro area.

This full-time role combines box truck driving, hands-on loading and unloading, and customer service. You’ll work with our warehouse team to deliver the right products on time and provide friendly, professional service at every stop. The position reports directly to the Operations Manager.

What you’ll do

• Load and unload trucks daily, working with the warehouse team to confirm orders are complete before departure.
• Deliver products safely and within expected time frames throughout the NY/NJ/CT metro area.
• Plan efficient delivery routes and follow DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety procedures.
• Check deliveries for product accuracy and condition, follow special instructions, and assist customers with questions.
• Collect proof-of-delivery photographs and customer signatures.
• Pick up customer returns.
• Inspect the truck, perform preventative maintenance, and keep the vehicle and associated equipment clean and in good working order.

What you’ll need

• At least 2 years of box truck driving experience.
• A clean, valid Class D driver’s license—no CDL required.
• A DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one before employment.
• Ability to lift and move at least 50 lbs.
• A positive, helpful attitude and commitment to customer service.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work accurately, stay focused, and find solutions when delivery challenges arise.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• 6:00 AM start time
• Overtime eligible
