Job summary

U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI) is seeking a full-time Night Driver for our Middletown, CT CDC. Schedule Sunday-Thursday, 11pm–7:30am with a $2/hour shift differential. responsibilities include delivering to customer sites, loading/unloading freight, and following dispatch routes.

Qualifications include a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a DOT physical, plus customer service and driving experience. Benefits include CDL training reimbursement and other comprehensive plans.

• Strongly independent with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication with customers at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety requirements based on policy and regulations.
• Deliver to customer job sites in a professional, accurate, and courteous manner.

• Follow dispatch and routing instructions and perform required trips.
• Conduct pre/post trip inspections and capture shipment photos.

U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. is looking for a Driver who will be responsible for the delivery of company branch and customer orders. This driver position will be based out of our Middletown, CT Central Distribution Center (CDC).

Job Summary

• Adhere to Safety Requirements based on policy, procedure, and motor vehicle regulations.
• Deliver to customer job sites in an accurate, professional, & courteous manner.
• Load & Unload Freight as required, and according to customer-specific needs.
• Deliver additional routes as required by dispatch and management.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and capture shipment photos.
• Follow Dispatch / Routing instructions.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required Skills

• Customer Service Experience and Driving Experience
