Job summary

Imperial Brady is a leading North American distributor and solutions provider seeking a Non-CDL Delivery Driver for Rochester, NY. You will deliver products to customer stops, unload with a hand pallet jack and dolly, and ensure safe, timely delivery with strong customer service.

Work from Monday to Friday, 6am to finish, maintaining an activity log, inspecting the truck, and communicating with customers. DOT and Non-DOT exams are required; benefits include medical/dental/vision and 401(k)

Qualifications

• Valid driving record.
• At least 1 year of route delivery experience.
• At least 1 year of pallet jack and hand truck experience.
• Lift gate experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Must pass a DOT medical exam and a Non-DOT drug exam.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to stops per day and unload using hand pallet jack and dolly.
• Provide exceptional customer service and accurate delivery documentation.
• Load/unload cargo safely and track activity logs.
• Inspect the truck before and after trips and report issues to dispatch.
• Communicate with customers in a friendly, professional manner.

As a Non-CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to stops per day. You will need to unload the merchandise using a hand, a pallet jack, and a dolly, and deliver it to the customer's preferred location. Providing exceptional customer service is a crucial aspect of this role.

You will work from Monday to Friday, from 6am to Finish.

You Will

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck with air brakes up to 25,999 GVW
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after the trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude

You Have

• A good driving record
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and a Non-DOT drug exam.
