Job summary

Ferguson in Belgrade, MT, is hiring a truck driver with a starting wage of $27.00 per hour and potential increases based on experience. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with home daily and no nights or weekends.

You will deliver materials to customers, assist with loading/unloading, perform inspections, and support warehouse operations while following safety policies. Benefits and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and DOT medical card.
• Experience in warehouse/logistics a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers, assist loading/unloading, and ensure delivery of ticket with material.
• Pickup customer returns and verify product matches for credit.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; refuel as needed; report issues.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse with pulling and preparing orders for shipment; receive, verify, stock incoming material.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Adhere to safety regulations and PPE usage.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a Valid Drivers license.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs.
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes assistance with loading and unloading and ensuring delivery of ticket with material.
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
