Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation is seeking a certified Non-CDL Dockworker to load/unload freight at the terminal dock and ensure on-time, damage-free delivery. You will plan loads, inspect equipment, fuel and maintain vehicles, and uphold DOT safety standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma, ability to pass drug screen and background check, and proficiency in English. Flexible hours and full-time employment are offered with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Familiar with DOT regulations governing the assignment.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock.
• Load freight according to Bills of Lading and delivery receipts.
• Plan loading to maximize space and minimize damage.
• Hook/unhook trailers and operate landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks, tractors, and other equipment.
• Maintain clean dock and work areas.
• Record shipments using relevant documents.
• Develop professional relations with customers.
