Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Basic math for handling cash and measurements.
• Prior experience or ability to provide good customer service and safety focus.
• Ability to operate a heavy vehicle (over 10,000 lbs) and comply with regulations.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and meet company driving criteria.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely and in compliance with company rules and laws.
• Load and unload merchandise; secure load for transport.
• Understand and verify shipping documents and directions to deliveries.
• Obtain signatures and ensure payment collection for cash deliveries.
• Provide sales leads and assist customers at delivery sites.
• Perform safety checks and complete vehicle inspection reports.
