Hajoca Corporation, including the Gorman Co. brand in Melbourne, FL, seeks a Delivery Driver Non CDL who thrives on delivering great customer service and safe, reliable operations.

This role involves loading, delivering to job sites, following shipping docs, and collecting payments with attention to detail. You’ll drive a heavy vehicle (over 10,000 lbs), maintain logs, and support warehouse flow while upholding Hajoca’s service standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Be able to drive a vehicle over 10,000 lbs and pass a DOT physical exam.
• At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to understand shipping docs, read directions, and communicate effectively.
• Read, write, speak English and perform basic math for transactions.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely and in compliance with rules and laws, delivering to job sites and other locations.
• Load and unload merchandise, secure loads, and ensure unloading equipment is available.
• Review shipping documents and verify order accuracy; obtain signatures for deliveries.
• Collect payments for cash deliveries prior to releasing material.
• Resolve delivery discrepancies with customers promptly and accurately.
• Prepare truck for next delivery and maintain cleanliness inside cab and body.
• Note prospective customer names and addresses for sales leads.
• Perform safety and compliance training as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
