Job summary

United Central Industrial Supply, a SunSource company, seeks a Non-CDL VMI/Delivery Driver to pick up and deliver merchandise while representing the company professionally. You will operate various delivery vehicles, load and unload items, obtain signatures, and ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and a basic understanding of DOT regulations, with preference for one year driving experience and the ability to pass a driving test.

Qualifications

• One year driving experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a Ford F550.
• General understanding of Department of Transportation regulations.
• Successfully pass a company driving test.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and/or deliver merchandise as required and represent the company.
• Operate company vehicles safely.
• Load and unload merchandise on vehicles.
• Obtain signatures and/or payments upon delivery of merchandise.
• Follow assigned scheduling of deliveries and deliver on time.
• Maintain vehicle appearance and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain professional appearance and courteous service.
• Communicate with supervisor about shortages, overages, or damaged goods.
