Job summary

United Central Industrial Supply, a SunSource company, seeks a field-facing professional to call on and visit customer sites daily, taking orders and promoting product offerings while building relationships with mine-level personnel. The role ships and manages inventory with VMI at select sites, ensuring stock levels meet Min-Max targets.

Collaboration with Inventory Control addresses stock and obsolescence matters.

Responsibilities

• Call upon and visit customer sites on a daily basis to ascertain customer needs, take orders, promote current and new product offerings and foster good relationships with mine-level personnel.
• Maintain Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) at specific customer job sites. Ascertain inventory levels and keep stocked at prescribed Min-Max levels.
• Work with Inventory Control regarding stock levels, obsolete inventory, etc.
