Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a driver to load, transport, and deliver materials to customer sites. You will adhere to safety rules, deliver undamaged goods on schedule, and provide professional service to customers. Non-CDL drivers will operate vehicles weighing 10,001–26,000 pounds.

You will secure loads, verify orders, and keep logs of duties, mileage and locations. The role requires basic math, English reading, and may involve forklift operation when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Pass MVR report and obtain a DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Able to read and understand English; basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Loads and secures product inside delivery vehicle.
• Delivers customer orders to specified site and unloads materials safely and accurately.
• Verifies order details and logs delivery duties including weights, mileage and locations.
• Acts as a customer service liaison between BFS and site customers and resolves issues.
• Maintains delivery vehicle cleanliness and performs routine safety checks.
• Operate forklift or non-motorized handling equipment to load/unload materials.
• Maintain hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspections.
