Job summary

Qualifications

• Be able to drive a vehicle over 10,000 lbs.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Pass a Department of Transportation physical examination before starting and every two years while employed.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely and in compliance with company rules and regulations.
• Load the truck with Hajoca merchandise and secure the load.
• Understand and verify shipping documents and directions to delivery destinations.
• Review order accuracy and obtain legible signatures for delivered merchandise.
• Collect and secure outstanding payments for cash sale deliveries.
• Work with customers at delivery sites to resolve shipping discrepancies.
• Provide sales leads by noting prospective customer names and addresses.
• Inspect the truck and equipment for safe operation and keep inside cab clean.
• Complete required safety and compliance training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
