Job summary

Hajoca Corporation seeks a Non CDL Delivery Driver in Decorah, IA to join our logistics team. You will safely operate heavy deliveries, load/unload merchandise, verify orders, and collect payments when needed.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years old or older.
Possess a valid driver's license.
Driving record meets Authorized Driver criteria.
Able to pass a DOT physical before starting and again every two years.
Knowledge of driving laws and safety precautions.
Ability to build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
Read, write, and understand English.
Basic arithmetic skills for handling loads and payments.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks safely and in compliance with company rules and applicable laws.
Load and unload merchandise, secure loads, and verify shipments.
Record deliveries, obtain signatures, and collect payments for cash sales.
Provide sales leads from deliveries to the team.
Inspect vehicle and report mechanical issues; complete required vehicle inspection reports.
Maintain truck cleanliness in cab and body; ensure safety equipment is available.
Complete safety and compliance training as required.
