Job summary

Superior Beverage Group in Solon, Ohio is seeking a Non CDL Delivery Trainee to join our team. You will use company vehicles to deliver beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to retail accounts on assigned routes, reading maps, and completing daily driver logs and pre/post-trip inspections.

This entry-level role operates in all weather, Mon-Fri 1st shift, with strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and reliability. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, 401(k), vacation and more.

Qualifications

• Ability to maneuver 168 pound kegs and 35 pound cases at each delivery location.
• Solid math skills.
• Able to operate company equipment, forklifts and equipment dolly.
• Capable to perform duties in various outdoor weather conditions.
• Valid license and good driving record.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete delivery route as sequenced within time constraints.
• Accurately calculate the amount due and collect payment for product delivered at each account.
• Correctly complete all required paperwork during the driver check-in process at the completion of the daily route.
• Assist other team members to complete routes.

Our Non CDL Delivery Trainees utilize company vehicles to deliver cases of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to retail accounts based on established assigned routes. Our drivers must be able to read and understand a map, complete daily driver logs as well as pre and post-trip truck inspections. This position will require you to work in all weather extremes including hot or cold, wet or dry conditions. This is a fast-paced, physical environment that provides our customers with all their beer and wine needs.
