Job summary

Imperial Brady in San Diego is seeking a Non CDL Delivery Driver to handle daily route deliveries, unloading by hand, pallet jack, and lift gate, while delivering exceptional customer service.

You must have a valid CDL B, pass a DOT medical exam, maintain a good driving record, and have at least one year of CDL B and route delivery experience; the role is Monday–Friday with early start and about 10 hours per day, with competitive pay.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Track and document activity logs and communicate issues to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip and maintain safety.
• Provide exceptional customer service and professional communication.

The Non CDL Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 5:00am-until route completed. Approximate route is 10 hours.

Pay rate: $22.00/hourly

You Will

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

You Have

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Strong work ethic
