Are you friendly and do you thrive on providing great customer service? Are you detail-oriented and safety conscious? Do you enjoy working independently? If so, we’d like you to join our team as a non-CDL Delivery Driver.

About the Role:
  • Operate trucks safely and in compliance with Company rules, applicable laws, and regulations. Destinations include job sites, customer facilities, vendor facilities, other Hajoca locations, facilities of other wholesalers, or other locations as directed by management.
  • Load the truck at the Profit Center with Hajoca merchandise to be delivered. Secure the load properly so that nothing will shift, get damaged, or fall from the truck. Ensure that the necessary equipment to safely unload the merchandise is available.
  • Understand the shipping documents associated with each delivery and have accurate directions to each destination.
  • Review shipping documentation and ensure order accuracy.
  • Unload the correct merchandise from the truck and place it where the receiving party wants it. Obtain a legible signature for all merchandise delivered per Company policy and procedure.
  • Collect and secure outstanding payments for all cash sale deliveries prior to releasing the material to the customer.
  • Work with customers at the delivery site to resolve shipping discrepancies quickly and accurately.
  • Load the truck at other locations with merchandise, including merchandise picked up at vendor locations, returned by customers, or purchased from other wholesalers.
  • Provide sales leads by noting prospective customer names and addresses discovered during deliveries.
  • Inspect the truck and required parts and accessories to determine safe operating condition prior to departure. Keep the truck clean of debris in cab and body.
  • Advise management of any mechanical problems with the truck. Complete the Driver’s Daily Vehicle Inspection Report when driving a delivery vehicle with GVWR of 10,001 lbs. or more, especially if a defect or deficiency is found.
  • At the end of the day, remove keys from the truck and store them in the approved location.
  • Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and management.
About You:
  • You must be able to drive a vehicle over 10,000 lbs. As a non-CDL driver, you must:
  • Be at least 21 years old
