Schaedler Yesco Distribution in New Castle, PA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support warehousing tasks including order pulling, packing, receiving, and loading. This role may serve as a backup box truck driver and requires basic math and computer skills.

The position operates Monday to Friday, starting at 7 AM until deliveries are completed, with duties centered in a warehouse environment that may involve varying temperatures and loud conditions.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and similar equipment.
• One year of experience driving a 24ft-26ft box truck for delivery preferred but not required.

Summary/ Objective:

This role is responsible for performing a variety of tasks in support of warehousing functions including; delivering, storing, processing, and loading of warehouse inventory as well as being a backup box truck delivery driver.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 AM- until deliveries are completed

This job most operates within the warehouse setting. Varying temperatures and moving equipment are presented in the warehouse. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Physical Demands:

• the ability to stand, walk for moderately long distances, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, push/pull) weight up to 50lbs unassisted
• The ability to climb a ladder
• The ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and various warehousing machinery/tools
• Ability to use a keyboard and type proficiently
• Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
