Job summary

Imperial Brady in Livermore, CA is seeking a Non-CDL Delivery Driver to join our local route team. You will operate a box truck, load/unload cargo, and ensure accurate delivery documentation on a daily route starting early.

The position offers a 4/10 work schedule Monday through Saturday with shifts from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, or until the route is completed, at a pay rate of $26.00 per hour, with a safety-first approach and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.
• Pre-employment drug test required.
• 1 year of lift gate delivery experience.
• 1 year of recent delivery driver experience.
• 1 year of non-CDL experience.
• Electric pallet jack experience is a plus.
• Must lift 50+ pounds unassisted.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

The Non-CDL Delivery Driver makes daily stops on a local route while safely operating a box truck. The driver will utilize a pallet jack, dolly, and lift gate to offload and transport the merchandise to the customers.

This role offers a variable schedule, with a standard 4/10 shift between Monday to Saturday, starting at 5:00 am - 3:30 pm or until the daily route is completed.

Pay rate: $26.00/hour

You will:

• Safely operate a 26' box truck or 53' trailer with air brakes
• Load and unload cargo
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip

You have:

• A valid driver’s license
• Must have a valid DOT medical card or be able to pass a DOT medical exam
• Good driving record
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• 1 year of lift gate experience
• 1 year of recent Delivery Driver experience
• 1 year of recent Non-CDL experience
• Electric Pallet Jack experience is a plus
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Strong work ethic
