Job summary

Watkins Distributing is seeking a dedicated Non-CDL Delivery Driver to service routes throughout Idaho. You will deliver and merchandise products, unload with hand trucks or pallet jacks, and verify orders with store personnel to ensure accurate deliveries.

You will be responsible for maintaining displays, rotating stock, and completing daily route paperwork while staying compliant with all safety regulations. A clean driving record and ability to lift 20–30 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a hand truck and lift cases up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned route delivering products in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
• Unload product using pallet jack/hand truck and check in with store personnel.
• Verify orders, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate deliveries.
• Fill cooler and display space per company standards and rotate products.
• Maintain paperwork and communicate with sales representatives and store staff.

Watkins Distributing is a family owned and operated beverage distribution company that has serviced Idaho and Montana for four generations.

Job Summary:

Non-CDL Delivery Drivers are on an assigned route, delivering and merchandising the company's products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive an assigned route, delivering product in a safe, timely, and professional manner, adhering to all traffic regulations.
• Unload product from truck using a pallet jack and/or hand truck.
• Check product in with store personnel.
• Ensure deliveries are accurate by verifying orders and obtaining signatures.
• Fill all cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of delivery.
• Rotate all product according to company standards.
• Pick up empty keg shells, damaged items, or mis-ordered product for credit.
• Collect invoices and complete detailed route paperwork daily.
• Communicate effectively with sales representatives and store personnel.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills & Abilities:

• Delivery driver experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations.
• Must be able to navigate a hand truck full of product.
• Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Must be able to lift and move cases ranging from 20- 30 lbs. regularly and 160 lbs. to waist level. Tasks include bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
• Work independently across multiple retail locations throughout the shift.
• Operate delivery vehicle safely in frequently varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
