Job summary

Watkins Distributing, LLC. seeks a Non-CDL Delivery Driver to manage an assigned route, delivering and merchandising company products to retail locations across Idaho and Montana. The role emphasizes safe driving, accurate order checking, and timely deliveries to support store operations.

Successful candidates will have a valid license, the ability to maneuver pallet jacks/hand trucks, and comfort using handheld devices for daily route documentation and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Delivery driver experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and no major driving violations
• Must be able to navigate a hand truck full of product
• Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices

Responsibilities

• Drive an assigned route, delivering product in a safe, timely, and professional manner, adhering to all traffic regulations.
• Unload product from truck using a pallet jack and/or hand truck
• Check product in with store personnel.
• Ensure deliveries are accurate by verifying orders and obtaining signatures.
• Fill all cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of delivery
• Rotate all product according to company standards
• Pick up empty keg shells, damaged items, or mis-ordered product for credit
• Collect invoices and complete detailed route paperwork daily
• Communicate effectively with sales representatives and store personnel.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Summary:

• Drive an assigned route, delivering product in a safe, timely, and professional manner, adhering to all traffic regulations.
• Unload product from truck using a pallet jack and/or hand truck
• Check product in with store personnel.
• Ensure deliveries are accurate by verifying orders and obtaining signatures.
• Fill all cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of delivery

Preferred Skills & Abilities:

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Must be able to lift and move cases ranging from 20- 30 lbs. regularly and 160 lbs. to waist level. Tasks include bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods
• Work independently across multiple retail locations throughout the shift
• Operate delivery vehicle safely in frequently varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
