Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Container Delivery Driver – Non CDL in Portland, OR to safely operate a delivery vehicle and provide timely container services for residential and commercial customers. You will ensure vehicle readiness and compliance with safety standards daily.

You will interact with customers and dispatchers, complete route tasks, and perform routine maintenance while adhering to safety policies and company procedures. This role offers benefits and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure tire pressure, fluids, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in proper working order.
• Safely operate a truck on designated routes and service each customer as identified on the route sheet or by dispatch.
• Load containers and perform minor repairs on site or in the container yard.
• Maintain daily Vehicle Condition Reports and productivity sheets.
• Follow all safety policies and participate in the ReSOP program.
