Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Non-CDL Driver to safely operate a vehicle and complete daily tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

The role includes performing vehicle inspections, loading and delivering to designated customers, and completing required reports. You will interact with customers and supervisors, participate in safety programs, and may operate additional equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
• Strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to ensure tires, fluids, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order.
• Safely operate a truck along designated routes or within yard and service each customer as identified on route sheets or by dispatch.
• Operate manual and automatic controls to load and unload containers following safety policies.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and colleagues to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
• Clean areas around any waste spill and adhere to applicable safety standards.
• Continuously monitor vehicle condition to minimize downtime and ensure operational readiness.
• Complete required paperwork and Vehicle Condition Reports (VCRs) and other reports as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and participate in the company’s safety programs (ReSOP).
• Operate other equipment as necessary to meet business needs and perform other duties as assigned.
