Meyer is seeking an experienced Box Truck Driver to join our team in a non-CDL role. You will drive 26–28 ft box trucks on route deliveries, load and unload, and ensure DOT compliance while maintaining accuracy in delivery paperwork.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience driving 26–28 ft box trucks or similar commercial vehicle.
• Valid truck driver license with state endorsement for the specific state.
• Willing to submit to drug screens and background checks; DOT medical card required.
• No recent moving or driving violations; maintain insurability at standard insurance rates.

Responsibilities

• Drive company trucks to make route deliveries and meet schedules.
• Load/unload deliveries, maneuver trucks into loading positions.
• Comply with DOT regulations and driving rules.
• Inspect vehicles and report defects; perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Complete paperwork required by company and DOT regulations.
• Communicate with Fleet Management on maintenance needs.
• Heavy lifting up to 75+ lbs.
