Job Description

Responsible for investigating and confirming facts of loss for complex automobile accidents. Determines coverage, liability, damages, and adjusts and negotiates claims within authority limits. Mentors junior employees. This role is remote auto claims adjuster; ideal candidates will have auto claims handling experience and can sit in any time zone. Not accepting applications in CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine subrogation or fraud potential and appropriate handling for complex cases
• Apply advanced understanding of insurance policies, industry standards, and organizational relationships
• Handle investigations of all aspects of complex auto claims (coverage, liability, damages) with discretion and independence within increased authority
• Review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims (if applicable)
• Recognize vehicle body parts and assess potential property damage
• Identify customer needs and utilize appropriate customer service skills

Education

4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Experience

3+ years of experience (Preferred)

Compensation

Base salary: $47,500 - $99,100 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Total compensation includes base salary plus incentive pay (commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable.
