Job summary

Civil Clothing Inc. is seeking a Product Development Specialist, Non-Apparel in Torrance to manage diverse product categories from concept through production readiness.

You’ll collaborate with Design, Production and vendor partners to translate concepts into quality, cost-effective products across hats, bags, drinkware, and more. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in non-apparel product development, strong vendor negotiation skills, and hands-on experience with PLM tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product development across non-apparel consumer products.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field preferred.
• Experience coordinating with vendors, cost targets, and production handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage non-apparel categories from development through production readiness.
• Serve as day-to-day Product Development contact for assigned categories.
• Review prototypes and coordinate with design and vendors on comments and next steps.
• Ensure products meet design intent, functionality, quality, and cost targets.
• Maintain calendars, timelines, and WIP reports; track samples and approvals.
