Job summary

Apple is seeking a Mechanical Noise & Vibration Engineer to evaluate and control noise from fans, keyboards, trackpads, and buttons across Apple products. You will develop metrics, apply user studies to set thresholds, and work with design owners and overseas manufacturing sites to optimize sound with minimal travel.

You will collaborate with N&V engineers and manufacturing teams, and contribute to hardware design, validation, and troubleshooting to improve overall product acoustics.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Acoustics or equivalent field.
• Strong hearing across the audible range.
• Ability to thrive in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities
