Job summary

You will work with Transducer Design, Product Design, Electrical Engineering, Software, Tuning, Operations and Reliability teams to push the boundaries of compact acoustic systems. The role involves simulation, prototyping, tuning and validation, with expected international travel about 10%.

Qualifications

• Passion for audio and fundamental knowledge of acoustic theory.
• Ability to own tasks from start to finish independently and drive execution.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and clear communication of acoustic requirements.
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
• MS or equivalent work experience, preferably acoustics.
• Travel around 10% internationally.

Responsibilities

• Own acoustic design and integration across product lines (iPad, Mac, Home).
• Collaborate with Transducer Design, Product Design, Electrical Engineering, Software, Tuning, Operations and Reliability teams.
• Perform simulation, prototyping, tuning and validation of compact acoustic systems.
• Push boundaries of audio performance in consumer electronics.
