UNC Health Johnston Hospital in Smithfield, NC is seeking a BC/BE nocturnist to join our growing Hospital Medicine program. The physician will cover 7 nights on and 7 nights off (7pm–7am) with EPIC as the EHR. This is a full‑time onsite position affiliated with Rex/UNC Health with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications include MD/DO, Internal Medicine residency preferred, BC/BE, and new trainees are welcome. Relocation, CME, and retirement options are included in the compensation package.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Internal Medicine residency preferred.
• Board certification or eligibility in Hospital Medicine/IM.
• New trainees welcome.

Responsabilités

• Provide nocturnist hospitalist coverage in a team-based program.
• Participate in quality improvement, CME, and patient‑care initiatives.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for comprehensive inpatient documentation.

Nocturnist to join UNC Johnston, Smithfield, NC. Johnston is looking for a BC/BE hospitalist to join the growing Hospital Medicine program in Smithfield and Clayton, NC. Affiliated with Rex/UNC, these positions involve delivering high‑quality, team‑based benefits including quality bonus, CME, retirement plan and malpractice coverage.
