Job summary

UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC is seeking a full-time Experienced Nocturnist Physician to join the team. This position offers 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am) with a 7 on/7 off schedule, providing inpatient coverage as part of the hospitalist program.

Candidates must be board-certified in Internal Medicine, hold an MD or DO, and be eligible for North Carolina licensure. Epic EMR experience is preferred and the role is onsite with UNC Health benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
• North Carolina medical license or licensure in process.
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient nocturnal coverage as part of Hospitalists Raleigh.
• Work 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7am) on a 7-on/7-off schedule.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
