Job summary

Tufts Medicine – Lowell General Hospital is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN to join our OB-Gyn Hospitalist team. The role emphasizes inpatient obstetrics with a collaborative, team-based care model and strong nursing partnerships.

You will provide obstetrical care on Labor & Delivery, manage OBED evaluations, perform gynecologic consults, teach residents and medical students, and participate in quality and patient-safety initiatives within a supportive academic environment.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
• Strong collaboration with CNMs and nursing staff.
• Interest in teaching and patient safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetrical care on Labor & Delivery.
• Manage OBED evaluations and admissions.
• Perform gynecologic consults and urgent care.
• Collaborate with Family Medicine Attendings.
• Collaborate closely with midwives, nursing staff, and physician colleagues.
• Participate in quality initiatives and patient safety programs.
