CarolinaEast Health System is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse Practitioner to join our ICU team. This role offers a 7 on / 7 off rotating schedule with some flexibility to balance work and life.

The NP will manage complex ICU cases, collaborate with physicians and nurses, and help deliver patient-centered, high-quality care. We value a team approach, cutting-edge resources, and compassionate care for our critically ill patients across our Coastal Carolina region.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current North Carolina NP licensure.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. While this role typically follows a 7 on / 7 off rotating schedule, there is some flexibility. This opportunity offers a great work-life balance while providing intensive care to critically ill patients. The NP will manage complex cases, collaborate with medical staff, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Preferred Skills:

Advanced procedural skills (e.g., central/arterial line placement, intubation) if within scope

Strong critical thinking, clinical decision-making, and communication skills

Comfortable with EMR systems and ICU technology

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current licensure in the state of North Carolina.
