Job summary

Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, part of Hartford HealthCare, seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join its nocturnist Hospital Medicine team in Torrington, CT. The role offers an excellent work-life balance with a 7 on/7 off schedule and closed ICU with intensivist support.

You will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and have access to system-wide resources, teaching opportunities, and strong administrative support.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Eligible for CT medical license and unrestricted DEA/CS registration.
• Strong clinical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nocturnist inpatient coverage in a 7 on / 7 off schedule.
• Collaborate with ICU intensivists and Hospital Medicine team for patient care.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents as part of the teaching hospital.

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join our growing Hospital Medicine team as a Nocturnist.
